Limited beta. Access is rolling out in stages — talk to us before onboarding real patient data.

Nothing leaves the room until you decide it should.

Tahlk is an ambient scribe that listens to a visit, transcribes it entirely on your own machine, and turns it into a note you review and sign. Audio and transcript never touch a server — the only thing that ever leaves your device is the moment you click Generate Note.

What makes this hard to copy

Built local-first, all the way down.

Most ambient scribes are a thin AI layer bolted onto a cloud pipeline. Tahlk's architecture — and the compliance work underneath it — makes the easy version of this product a different, weaker product.

local / whisper.cpp

Transcription that never leaves the room

Speech recognition runs on your machine, on a bundled Whisper model — nothing to download, nothing uploaded. A competitor can't retrofit this after the fact; it has to be the foundation.

sign / sha-256

A note that can prove it wasn't altered

Every signed note is sealed into a running SHA-256 hash chain the instant you sign it. If the record is ever questioned, the chain — not your word — is the evidence.

scope / 42 cfr 2

Compliance sized for the hardest case

42 CFR Part 2, state behavioral-health confidentiality, the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule — the groundwork most scribes skip is already done, because behavioral health demanded it first.

os / content protect

Protections a browser tab can't make

Tahlk is a native desktop app, not a tab. That's what makes window content-protection possible — the session can't be screen-captured by something else running on the machine.

Managed by Greenbar: clinicians never hold an Anthropic key or manage a separate AI vendor relationship — every note-generation call runs through Greenbar's managed proxy, under Greenbar's BAA with Anthropic.

The loop

How a session becomes a signed note.

01

Record

Start recording at the beginning of the visit, stop at the end. Audio is saved locally and never uploaded.

02

Transcribe

Speech-to-text runs entirely on your computer on the bundled Whisper model. Nothing to install, nothing leaves the device.

03

Generate the note

Pick a template and generate a draft. This is the one deliberate step where the transcript is sent to Anthropic, covered by your BAA with Greenbar.

04

Review & edit

The draft is fully editable until you sign it — nothing is final until you say so.

05

Sign & export

Signing locks the note and seals a SHA-256 fingerprint into the chain. Export to clipboard or file whenever you're ready.

Where we're starting

Behavioral health and podiatry first — built to extend.

Tahlk is launching with behavioral health and podiatry, not because the product stops there, but because behavioral health carries some of the strictest confidentiality rules in healthcare. Building the compliance foundation for that case first means each new specialty is additive, not a rewrite.

Beta status

Limited beta, signed installer

Tahlk ships today as a signed Windows installer, with note generation routed through Greenbar's managed key proxy — no separate Anthropic account to set up. Access is rolling out in stages, gated on a signed BAA/EULA with Greenbar Systems before real patient use — no developer or IT help required to run it.
